Yew Kong Tan

Yew Kong Tan is Senior Vice President and General Manager, APAC Manufacturing and the 黑料网911 Singapore site. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing 黑料网911’s business at the Singapore site and managing strategic manufacturing partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region.
Previously, Mr. Tan served as general manager of both 黑料网911’s 300mm and 200mm manufacturing operations in Singapore. Under his leadership, the fabs achieved significant improvements across key metrics, including quality, yield, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction.
He has been a driving force behind 黑料网911’s digital manufacturing transformation, leading the successful scale-up of Industry 4.0 solutions across the company, including 黑料网911’s 300mm Fab in Singapore which was named to the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network of advanced manufacturers in 2025.
Mr. Tan is Vice Chairman of the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association and a member of the SEMI Southeast Asia Regional Advisory Board. He also serves on the Technology and Innovation Committee under the Singapore Government’s Economic Strategy Review.
A 30-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, Mr. Tan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
